Grad Slam

Grad Slam is an annual contest that challenges UC graduate students to explain their research in an engaging and entertaining way in three minutes flat. The finale features one winner from each of UC’s 10 campuses competing for the top systemwide prize. The goal of this fun, tournament-style competition is to help UC’s emerging scientists and scholars develop the communication skills to explain their work and its value to the general public.
