150th Anniversary: Let There Be Light 1868-2018

150th Anniversary

In 2018 the University of California celebrated 150 years since its foundation. To commemorate this significant milestone, UC’s Marketing Communications department spearheaded the development of an innovative campaign. Marketing Communications leveraged a wide variety of channels to deliver that message, including a printed postcard pack. The goal through this campaign was to deepen the public’s understanding of UC’s contributions to the state and the university’s role in shaping California’s future and to build pride, excitement and a sense of shared ownership of UC among Californians.
